Originally released on digital and CD ahead of their time back in 2009, Mothball record is proud to present these dancefloor weapons on vinyl for the first time, remastered from the original analog files to ensure maximum impact.
Truly an icon in the ‘dreamwave / outrun’ scene Shawn Ward AKA FM Attack has continually stayed one step ahead of the imitators and in recent years has remixed Sally Shapiro, Trans-X amongst many others.
From these 4 songs is an entire cinematic experience…
“Hot Girlz in Love” is a the last bell of school term, summer vacations, jacuzzis, sunbaking on the beach , nights at the mall or video arcade.
“Yesterday” sets the mood for the club, sharp production, sirens and filtered samples bring a taste of the 90s.
On the b-side we have a darker mood:
“Sleepless Nights”, theme for car chases: behind the wheel with Sly Stallone and Brigitte Nielsen on the run from the nightslasher.
“Memorex”, song for the end of the night: a showdown, the climactic ending. Dawn breaks as the credits roll.
