Another collaboration between oraculo records and a friend label, in this case pleasence records from canada, maked this plastical jewel possible. this ep represents the vinyl debut of toronto’s band traitrs, with an extract of their acclaimed debut album rites and ritual released in 2016, as the band describe their music “a bleak journey that touches on the dark post punk of the cure and bauhaus. the music is dark and laborious, yet refreshingly so; there are no glossy fairy tales here, instead we are left to consider the painfully cumbersome reality of the human existence”. we are sure about this will be one of the top post punk vinyls of 2017. traitrs will be touring europe very soon together with our partners in crime holygram.
all tracks remastered specially for vinyl by eric van wonterghem at prodam studio (berlin).
