British Funk Act “Strike One” was fronted by the charismatically Sultry Singer Sabiha Kara and Tobi Bakker with Dick Maun on saxophone. Memorable Dance floor Hit, “Can’t touch me anymore” was originally released on Elite Records in the U.K. by “Andy Sojka”, (The man responsible for producing and releasing Level 42’s initial singles) who also produced “Strike One “ back in 1983. In the U.K, “Cant Touch me Anymore” climbed to the top of the Dance charts and quickly became one of the fastest selling British 12 inch Dance singles. Now finally, after 35 years, a fresh re-issue is available, again on Dutch High Fashion Music, featuring the original 12” version, the 1985 “Reconstructed” remix by Marc Harman, but also including 2 fresh remixes by Marcel Vogel (Lumberjacks in Hell) and Dino Soccio (Pleasure of Love – LA).
