Making their debut on Crimes Of The Future are Betonkust & Innershades with ‘Forever In Boccaccio’ their homage to the legendary Belgian nightclub & neon lit club scene which no longer really exists. Made in January 2017 under grey Belgian skies, while listening to a lot of New Beat, Acid & Trance. Belgian sadness & melancholy all the time, fries & beer every day. People would go out from from Friday till Monday afternoon, imagine 60 hours in a club? Feels like forever, thats where the title came from. The ’88 side features the title track & ‘In Love With A Girl Who Doesn’t Exist’ both very much recalling the heyday of the Belgian New Beat scene. ‘Jambers At The Carat Club’ & ‘The Return Of Van Rossem’ over on the ’92 side move with the changing tastes as the years passed, harder edged & with more of an Acid feel.
