A well crafted five tracker journey is a debut collaboration by two veterans, Christian Kroupa discovering his darker shades coming off of an LP on Natural Sciences and Le Chocolat Noir with seals of approval on Return to Disorder and L.I.E.S among others.
Opening production ‘The Quest’ welcomes a futuristic electro ride through warped vocals and resonant synths to set the tone, before Alessandro Adriani’s take on the track dives into darker, murkier territories as he serves up a powerful acid-flecked remix. On the flip, ‘The Hate That You Preach’ continues the dystopian feel with a chuggy production guided by vocal echoes, while ‘Electro City Express’ takes cues from its title with a surging, sweeping journey through cinematic synths. B3 ‘Constraint Attached’ rounds out the vinyl offering with a dark yet immersive and absorbing tumble through post-punk and synth-wave influences for an intoxicating trip.
