Helsinki imprint Common Labour is continuing to shape out its vision for deep house with its third release, bringing in a wider cast of contributors to lay down the warm and friendly grooves alongside existing label champs PothOles. Powel is up first with the gentle, discofied breeze of “Swivel Fold” before PothOles bring in a slower, freakier vibe rich in heady synth textures. Jussi Pekka has a more broad appeal in mind with the rousing arpeggios and heartfelt melancholy of “Ghost Of Lust”, and then Cossway shakes things up with the lively pace and abstract tones of “Boxwise”.
