Beyond The Singularity EP

Gladio Operations releases its sixteenth release, and bears the signature of Brice Kelly, marking the American artist’s return to the label. This EP, titled ‘Beyond The Singularity’ ,once again showcases the producer’s distinctive style, crafting his unique electro sound.

The record opens with ‘Identity Politics’,  in which he creates a track featuring powerful, well-defined basslines, exquisitely crafted melodies and skilfully employed vocoders. On ‘Let’s Get Off This Earth’, Brice Kelly continues with his refined style, punctuating his broken beats with relentless melodies, accompanied by deep, mischievous vocals. This sonic journey takes us to ‘Sent Down’, where we encounter a more classic electro sound, featuring powerful bass sequences, skilfully layered with provocative, tense harmonies.

Side B kicks off with the provocative title ‘Crimes Against Humanity’ , where the American producer continues with his powerful, steady beats, leading into ‘Time Is Our Essence’ , a track with a noticeably rougher, grittier sound, steeped in thrilling, gloomy melodies. Every journey must come to an end, and ‘The Dangers Of A.I.’ marks the path to that conclusion, reminding us of the dangers of the misuse of artificial intelligence and current technologies, whilst completely disregarding the sensitivity and labour provided by human beings.
