NFS EP

For most people, one week of car sharing might dissolve into arguments and anger. For Ernestas (Brokenchord) and Gérard (Ohm Sweet), it materialized into 10(!) tracks, recorded up in the Swiss alps after touring together last spring.

On the A-side of this split EP, Postbreak and Cargo West are thus the first two published babies of this new duo: Brkn Ohm. On the B-side, Ohm Sweet dug into his MPC to unearth two lost tracks brought back to life for the occasion: Upright and Crust. The latter featuring CAF? good friend and collaborator Lou Savary. In the manner of a car following the curves of a winding mountain road, NFS navigates between slow breaks, trip-hop and doom. Expect bass as low as a tuned Subaru Impreza and sounds grainy like crumbling asphalt.
