Already a formidable talent behind the decks across the world and widely known through his releases on London’s Wolf Music label, he tackles some choice cuts from the mighty TK Disco catalogue and delivers a 4 track EP of remixed tracks and edits utilising various parts, breaks and sounds from a plethora of classic and obscure TK related music.
You may find yourself recognising elements of the tracks, but you haven’t heard them like this before. Medlar has gone deep into the music and crafted something brand new from cuts that are almost 40 years old through some very clever rearranging and the addition of analogue synths and fresh, contemporary production methods.
This whole EP was conceived and recorded across 7 days spent on Reunion Island in the Indian ocean, off the coast of Madagascar.
