As a prelude before releasing the compilation, Versatile will come with limited 33 rpm and 45 rpm maxis on which every track has undergone an editing treatment by several French producers: Jean-Marc Misre (last sighted somewhere near London), DJ Ringardos (who, since his last Versatile release in 2008, chose Roman exile), ALT (already spotted on the Edits Du Golem and on the US label Black Disco), and of course Vidal Benjamin himself, accompanied by Gilbert Cohen. On the 45 rpm youll find no-one less than Jeff Lasson, of the Get a Room! duo, who came through with flying colors. And as a bonus beat: Misre on the B-side.
